How do the penny auction work?

You select a reverse auction and place a bid that is equal or above £0.01. The auction ends after the designated number of bids have been placed by any number of participants or the auction end date is reached . The participant with the lowest unique bid wins the auction and may purchase the item for the value bid.

What is the lowest unique bid?

A unique bid is a bid that has only been placed by a single participant per auction. Meaning if you bid $0.06 on an auction for the Sony Camcorder, and no one else bids that value your bid is unique. The lowest unique bid means that a unique bid of £0.06 is lower than a unique bid of £0.10, and therefore the winner.
