SO WHAT IS A REVERSE AUCTION?
Well its essentially the opposite of a normal auction where the person to place the lowest unique bid wins!

REGISTER YOUR DETAILS
To stary bidding you first need to register which is FREE. We need your name, email address a password and a delivery address if you win a prize.

PURCHASING CREDITS
Once you have registered then you are able to purchase credits. We offer different packages with the more expensive packages offering free credits. You will need to sign in to access the credits screen.

START BIDDING
Bidding is really easy on PrizeBid. Just find the product you would like to bid for either by searching for it or selecting a category from the menu. Then click on the product name and you will be taken to a bidding screen. Place your bid in pence only e.g. 20=20 pence bid and 3.64 = £3.64.

PrizeBid AUCTIONS
What are PrizeBid Auctions? PrizeBid Auctions are the opposite of normal auctions where the person to place the lowest single bid for an item is the winner.

Who can bid on PrizeBid? Anyone aged 18 or above can make bids on PrizeBid.

When does an auction start and end? A variety of items are added all the time on PrizeBid. Each product requires a number of bids before the auction closes. You are free to place a bid on any product as long as the required number of bids has not been met. Once there is enough bids made for a product, the auction automatically shuts down and the results are calculated.

Is there an end date on auctions? PrizeBid has recently introduced a closing date for some auctions, but currently most auctions close when the required number of bids has been achieved.

BIDDING
Can I make multiple bids for a single item? Yes. You can usually make up to 100 bids per auction but this can change. In our free auctions you will only be able to make 1 or sometimes 2 bids per auction.

How do I find out if I have won an auction? To find out if you have won an auction you simply view your bids from the members area and click the relevant bid. When an auction has received the required number of bids, or the closing date has arrived the results are calculated instantly

What happens if there are no unique bids? If there is no unique bid available the system will then calculate the winner using the lowest bid value with exactly two bids. The first person to have placed the bid will be the winner. If there is no bid value with two bids, then three bids will be used and so on until a winner is established.

FEES
How much does it cost to join PrizeBid? To join PrizeBid is FREE. However, to be able to place bids you need to purchase credits which are available in four different packages. Credits cost £1 GBP each and some packages offer you free credits.

What are the terms for cancelling a bid and getting refunds? Participants are not permitted to cancel bids once they have been accepted. Refunds are only possible if there was a system error affecting the processing of an auction and will be in the form of credits.

DELIVERY/PAYMENTS
How much do you charge for shipping? If there is a delivery charge it will be clearly stated on the item description. If a member would like the product shipped outside the UK then an additional charge will be applied.

How do you know where to deliver too? When you register on PrizeBid you provide us with a delivery address. We may wish to confirm this address before delivery but we don't always. You can change your delivery address details from within the member area at anytime.

How long do products take to deliver? It really depends on the product but please allow upto 28 days. However, most products are delivered within 5-10 days.

How can I pay for credits? PrizeBid accepts most credit cards and debit cards.

Is your website secure for online payment? PrizeBid uses PayPal to process payments so it is completely secure. In addition we don't store any card details on our server.
